Online store for the gruvin9x open source project

This online store has been set up to facilitate sales of items relating to the gruvin9x open source project.

The G9X v4.1 custom controller board (and additional extras) represent over a year of prototyping and testing to produce a TAPR open hardware licenced, drop-in replacement and upgrade for iMax/Eurgle/Fly-Sky/Turnigy/etc 'cloned'(?), 9-channel Chinese remote control transmitters.

The G9X main board utilises a larger capacity microcontroller (ATmega2560) with more interface pins, as well as a number of added features not present in the original stock '9X radio -- including an RS-232 telemetry data port to support Fr-Sky two-way 2.4GHz radio modules, connectivity for LED* or EL** back-light systems and more.

The upgraded board is designed to work with gruvin9x custom firmware, which was originally forked from ER9X, which in turn was forked from the very original (and still active) TH9X by Thomas Husterer, to whom we offer many thanks. At this time, it is not known if other open source '9X firmware projects (including Radio Clone) will take up and support this board. (They are of course more than welcome to do so.)

At the time of writing, around twenty (20) people have ordered either the completely blank or the 'pre-soldered hard parts' v4.1 board, sourced their own components (using the bill-of-materials (BOM) files provided on the project site) and successfully built their own custom v4.1 controller. On behalf of everyone in the core team, I'd like to offer a heartfelt CONGRATULATIONS and thanks for your support.

As at 2012-03-16, we are continuing to work with a small Chinese factory to arrange supply of a second batch of pre-assembled and tested v4.1 controller boards (just four (4) left in stock from the first batch, as I type.) We also have limited stocks of hand-built RTC/SD-card boards and gProg USBasp compatible programmer modules available.
